I had the pleasure of interviewing Mila Bernadkin regarding her award winning book, the Attitude girl.  It is an amazing story about a girl named Vicky who struggles with everyday life situations.  She is very honest with her feelings which you see play out through the course of this book.  Her and her mom were abandoned by father, a failing entrepreneur, she struggles with friendships, pregnancy, and mean spirited girls.   It is amazingly realistic and a fantastic book to have your tween, or teen girls read.  You too as a parent can read it so you can gain some insight as to what young girls are faced with on a daily basis.  It is very realistic and very true to life.  I can not say enough about this book.  It is by far my favorite read for girls of all ages.
